SHORT REPORTS FROM MY FRIENDS

09.05.2008. Couple picture with an injured female and male European Pond Turtle (Emys orbicularis) found and captured in image by my friend, Gergely Debreczeni in Sfântu Gheorghe, branch of Danube (in Danube Delta). And probably typical from this zone the strong algae growth on turtles...

06.05.2008. Here you can see couple pictures with an European Pond Turtle (Emys orbicularis) specimen with interesting injures on front legs. The turtle was photographed one week before in Vadu (Constanţa County) by Attila Deák. The origin of injuries are unknown for me. Any opinion?

19.03.2008. An interesting data from Borbála Szatmári, a good friend of mine.

"Today a 800 g Leuciscus cephalus was captured in the river Comlod (Mureş county) using             chicken liver as bait. In the mouth of the fish there was a male Green Toad (Bufo viridis). The fish     probably had some problems swallowing the toad, this is probably why its bones are fractured,     and he seems really soft and fluid."
